TREE NURSERIES

Uganda is rapidly losing its forests do to cooking practices, i.e. cooking with charcoal and through construction; bricks for buildings are fired in wood burning kilns.  It is estimated that, at the current rate of deforestation, Uganda will have no forests in 40 years.

IHA will begin to plant trees and establish tree nursies at each school that it installs solar power and computers.  Our goal is to plant 10,000 trees over a five year period.
